A first presentation of Akasha : Le souffle de l’univers, an intercultural opera-dance work by soprano Kripa Nageshwar, combining Indian musical traditions with contemporary instrumentation.

Rachel Krehm
Come Closer, a creation by Toronto-based company Opera 5, directed by Rachel Krehm, offers a deeply moving exploration of grief following the loss of a sister, inspired by Rachel Krehm’s personal experience of losing her sister Elizabeth to addiction.

In addition to its performance program, OPER’ACTUEL offers a series of free activities: open auditions, conferences, roundtables, showcases, workshops, discussions, and pitch sessions. An opportunity to discover the behind-the-scenes of contemporary opera creation and meet the artists shaping its future.
