ABOUT THE EVENT

In this new Lyrik laboratory from Chants Libres, artists share reflections, discussions, experiments, gestures, and maneuvers around the concepts of absence and presence.
The sound body we cannot see, the voice we hear but do not see.
The singer we see but do not hear.
The cello we see and the silent cellist.
The light hides, the light reveals, the light tells a story.
Light in conversation with music.
The director and the composer tell a story without words, illuminating spaces that are either inhabited or not by bodies, objects, sounds, voice, and music.
Three performers: a voice, a body, an instrument.
A triptych – a continuous transformation.

A production by Chants Libres, co-diffused with Le Vivier.

Initiated by artistic director Marie-Annick Béliveau, Lyrik laboratories are experimental residencies that bring together artists from various disciplines to explore new creation processes in lyric art.
